Ike Davis (born March 22, 1987, in Edina, Minnesota) is an American former professional baseball first baseman who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 2010 to 2016. Davis was selected 18th overall in the first round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the New York Mets after a standout collegiate career at Arizona State University, where he earned multiple All-Pac-10 honors and national recognition. 

He made his MLB debut with the Mets in 2010, tying team rookie records and earning a spot on the Baseball America All-Rookie Team. Over his seven-year big-league career, Davis also played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Oakland Athletics, and New York Yankees, finishing with 81 home runs and 291 RBIs

Known for his left-handed power bat and solid defensive work at first base, Davis became a fan favorite in New York and a respected competitor throughout the National League and American League.
